Why Can’t You Have It All?
I know that I can do anything I set my mind to and therefore I will. Where focus goes, energy flows.
I want to see how good my life can get without limiting myself to preconceived notions of what’s possible.
You gotta break out of the boxes that society wants and tries to put you in.
Why can’t you be an artist, entrepreneur and athlete, all at the same time? Exactly, no reason.
We are multidimensional by nature so it’s only natural to have multiple interests.
I hate the idea of “Pick one thing and be the best at it.” - That’s so boring. I’ll leave that for someone else.
As human beings, we have the ability to be both creative and rational. Masculine and feminine. Good and evil.
I will not discard my feminine/creative side for masculinity/rationality or vice versa. An individual who does that is unbalanced and creates conflict within themselves.
Maybe you’re here to do something in a way that has never been done before. That means there’s no blueprint for you to follow. You will have to trust yourself, follow your heart and pave your own lane.
Anything is possible but the uninitiated will say it’s not because they do not understand the underlying nature of reality. However, once you do understand, it seems stupid not to believe that you can do anything.
The only catch is, you have to make sacrifices and take action.
Are you willing to sacrifice your social life for years while you’re mastering your craft? Are you willing to sacrifice luxury in the moment to save up for studio time? Are you willing to be thought of as crazy for years or even decades?
Life is transactional and there’s always an opportunity cost. It comes down to what’s most important to you.
You gotta make a choice and put all of your energy behind it. No Plan B.
You gotta have an attitude like - Fuck what they saying, I’m saying this and I stand on it. Behind it. With it.
Greatness and mastery come at a cost. The bigger your dreams, the bigger the cost.
Are you willing to pay the price? I am.
