A tree grows…

Towards heaven as its roots reach down into hell… However, when the tree has grown and bears fruit, the fruit falls down and is absorbed by the earth unless it is eaten. Could this in any way be about fallen angels? What exactly is the fruit? Is it our service to others as a consequence of service to ourselves?
