The Path Of A Leader

The path of a leader is a lonely one. To go where no one has gone before and do what no one has done before, in the face of unprecedented obstacles, takes an immense amount of will, faith and courage. Not everyone has or is willing to extract that amount of willpower.

It is a choice that’s presented to us when we find ourselves at crossroads in our lives. To sacrifice pleasure in order to gain to wisdom. It is a universal fact that growth is the byproduct of overcoming obstacles and facing challenges with courage in spite of all which that entails.

This is the way to power.

Power comes from within. Force is enacted outwardly. Power is true strength. Force is masqueraded weakness.

I might change my opinion on this but I think anything which cannot be done using the power of love is not worth doing. Even if it means loving the suffering as you are in it. Loving the sun as much as the rain. Because without each other, neither would have much meaning.
